What Open Roads is
Open Roads is a relaxing, cel-shaded driving game that runs entirely in your browser. Click the toolbar icon and you're on an endless, procedurally generated scenic route — rolling hills, towns, churches, parks, water towers and bridges arching over rivers, all in soft, mild colours that are easy on the eyes for a quick break or a long cruise.
Drive your way
- Two modes — Challenge Run (10 missions) or Zen Drive (no pressure, with hands-free autodrive).
- Three vehicles — a muscle car, a chopper and a big rig, unlocked with coins you earn by driving.
- Real arcade feel — grip & drift physics (hold Shift to slide), suspension that dips and leans, and a handbrake.
- A lively world — smash through fences, hay bales, crates and barricades, splash through ponds and launch off ramps.
- Five seasons — summer, spring, winter, monsoon and desert, each with its own light, weather and sound.
Polished & lightweight
Sampled engine, tyre and crash audio with per-vehicle character, graphics quality settings (Low / Medium / High), volume control and a pause menu. Keyboard and on-screen touch controls — best in fullscreen. Controls: arrow keys to drive, Space to brake, Shift to drift, C for camera, F for autodrive, P to pause.
